Crow Rag Table Topperf
This is one of those rag quilts. I machine embroidered a crow and star on 4 blocks. Each block started out at 6 inch square. Then I chose a homespun fabric . Each square is made up of a top, batting, and a backing. Once they are sewn together , I gave it some primitive quilting, snipped the edges and tea dyed it. Then it is washed and the edges fray to give it that rag look. This one has a wonderful green plaid homespun and also osnaburg for the pieces that haave the machine embroidery. The backside is all the green homespun. It measures approx 15" square. Use it like I have shown for under a small lamp on an end table, or for a candle mat or whatever you like.
This is the first one I have made. I hope to make more out of different colors. If there is a color you would like or another design, just shoot me an email. I have other designs.
