Hi, and welcome, I would like to introduce myself.  My name is Sharon, I have been crafting and sewing for about 30 years. I am happily married to my husband Richard, and we have 4 wonderful children , two girls and two boys,and 7 super-wonderful grand-children,three girls and 4 boys. 

I started out sewing clothes for my kids when they were younger, although they look at pictures from back then and say--"Mom how could you"--I was the styles then, what can I say, I thought they looked cute in their matching outfits.  Then I started sewing for my granddaughter, dresses mostly, she really loved them.  We'll see what her opinion of them will be later.

I have made countless afghans, cross stitch items, needlepoint, etc.  I probably have done it all.  Quilting is one of favorite loves.  I have made all of my children and grandchildren a special quilt. They were all machine pieced, but I hand quilted each one of them. I thought they would be wonderful keepsakes for them.   I think they are going to wear them out first because they use them everyday, but isn't that what quilts are for.  It really makes me feel good knowing they love them that much.

Primitives are my new love, it is like my own little piece of the recycling process. I love finding new things  at garage sales, antique stores, friends and neighbors houses  (LOL).  My husband laughs everytime I come home with my "old" treasures.

My daughter and I have been doing craft shows, she said "Mom why don't you try a website".  So here I am.
